Have you ever heard of frosé? It's a blended cocktail made with: rosé wine, ice, fresh strawberries and vodka; consider it a distant relative to a blended margarita! Enjoy a glass of frosé when it's hot outside and make a pitcher of frosé to serve at backyard BBQs all summer long. We love this recipe because it's balanced and fruity, not too boozy. Elkhorn Peak Summer Frosé
Serving size: Frosé for 2
2 cups of Elkhorn Peak Rosé
2 cups of ice
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 ounce of Vodka
Recipe: Combine all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
Food Pairing Suggestions: Pairs beautifully with lighter fare, such as seasonal spring and summer salads. Exceptional with grilled chicken or fish. For appetizers, try with goat cheese on a crostini topped with honey or a bit of jam. Feel free to substitute the goat cheese for another soft, creamy cheese like brie.
