Welcome to Elkhorn Peak Cellars

Elkhorn Peak Cellars is a family-owned micro-winery tucked into the southeastern hills of Napa Valley, specializing in Pinot Noir. A hidden gem that brings a down-to-earth spirit to world-class Napa winemaking.

Homegrown Napa Valley

We produce fewer than 1,000 cases a year and sell exclusively through our website and Wine Club—for people who appreciate the old-school farming commitment to hands-on craftsmanship—and welcome the genuine friendship of a grape grower.

Pouring Passion: The Story Behind Elkhorn Peak Cabernet Sauvignon

“For 40 years I’ve been completely immersed in growing grapes in this terrior, I live on this land as well as farm it. Our 8-acre vineyard sits high atop Jamieson Canyon, Napa Valley’s sweet spot for Pinot Noir. The area is heavily planted today, but we planted the first vines here back in 1983.”

Estate Vineyards

It all starts with vibrant, living soil—because healthy soil grows healthy vines. Our farming philosophy is rooted in soil health, and we work by hand, with heart, and always with the future in mind. A deep commitment to organic practices and biodiversity guides everything we do, nurturing the vitality of our soil, our vines, and the surrounding ecosystem. Since 1983, we’ve taken pride in being artisanal winegrape growers and dedicated stewards of the land.

Small Lot Wines

Handcrafted in ultra-limited quantities, our estate-grown wines—especially our award-winning Pinot Noirs—are available only through our website and Wine Club. Members enjoy first access to our most sought-after and special-release bottlings.

Serving the Community

Elise Nerlove serves as Co-Founder and Director of the Micro-Winery Guild, a collective of independent, family-run micro-wineries that represent the heart and soul of wine culture. Through the T.A.S.T.E. Verified Experience, the Guild elevates farmers, storytellers, and caretakers of the land, connecting wine enthusiasts with small-scale farming traditions that can’t be replicated at large scale wineries.
