You may be familiar with the Catalina Wine Mixer through the movie Step Brothers (who could forget THIS scene?) but did you know it's a real event on Catalina Island in Southern California?
We had the privilege of participating in the 8th annual Catalina Wine Mixer June 2-3, 2023 with the help of our friends at Coastline Wine. We were one of 15 wineries to pour wine during the weekend festival. The weekend featured live music, incredible food and wine, and a movie premiere -- all against the backdrop of the incredible southern California coastline.
At the Elkhorn Peak wine tent, we poured our 2018 Pinot Noir, 2021 Chardonnay and 2022 Caber-Nat (sparkling Cabernet Sauvignon). The crowd favorite was easily the 2022 Caber-Nat -- not surprising; what could be better than a glass of sparkling wine on the beach?!
The Catalina Wine Mixer was an incredible kick-off to summer 2023!
